Thadaiyara Thaaka Girl Busy With Puthagam

Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who made an entry into Kollywood with ‘Yuvan’ and acted in a key role in Arun Vijay’s recently released ‘Thadayara Thaaka’ is shooting for Vijay Adiraj’s directorial debut ‘Puthagam.’

Puthagam is said to be a romantic-comedy and Rakul shares screen space with Arya’s brother Sathya, who makes his debut with this film. Rakul is happy to be working with Vijay Adiraj and said he was a great person to be associated with. Also, he makes sure everybody is comfortable even at difficult situations during shooting.

It is said Vijay Adiraj approached her for the movie when Rakul was in Chennai for an advertisement campaign and she immediately accepted the role of a bubbly journalist.While Rakul’s first film Yuvan failed to make a mark, her second film ‘Thadaiyara Thakka’ has her in a small but important role and has won praise on its release.
