1. Yaaradi Mohini
Singers: Rahul Nambiar & Megha
Lyrics: Na.Muthukumar
The beats seem great but it looks like it had imported from American Pop songs like harris jayaraj did in ‘Mangai nilavin thangai’from the movie Engeyum Kadhal. The ‘babe babe baby’ female voice of Megha is just like from Justin bieber background scores. G.V Prakashkumar initiated some difference in reversing the music faster which is a good try. It’s fully fast pace song but the visuals should help this song with a good dance moves.
2. Oru Paadhi Kadhavu Neeyadi
Singers: Haricharan & Vandhana
Lyrics: Na.Muthukumar
Starts with the same pitch of Vinaithaandi Varuvaaya’s ‘Hosaana’ Song. It’s a romantic melodious and Vandhana voice is perfect to match with Haricharan voice. The umming of Vandhana and Harichara both are so smooth and it feels good to listen more and more. A good song with a good melody tunes over all. It will surely help at sleeping times. Good thumbs up for the melody treat from G.V Prakashkumar.
3. Will You Be There
Singers: Alyssa & Marie
Lyrics: Na.Muthukumar
From the scintillating voices of Alyssa & Marie starts with English lyrics and double starts with Tamil lyrics. Na.Muthukumar’s own romantic lyrics are up to his best. The change to voice over with the female leads made a magic with this song. It’s good to listen for repeated times and this song will be hummed by many youngsters. ‘Will you be there’ will speak melody for the days to come.
4. Adhikaalai Pookal
Singers: G.V Prakashkumar
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
A very short song with all its melody to the perfect version mixed with G.V Prakashkumar vocal himself. A good lyrics to express a love from a guy to love. A romantic pace handled to its best in a short amount of time.
5. Uyire Uyire
Singers: Saindhavi, Sathya Prakash, GV. Prakash
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
Starts with Carnatic music which is well executed through singer Saindhavi voice. Express to show the feelings of love. A decent score from carnatic music mixed with modern beats good to listen. But for the major portion Traditional chorus handled and the instruments are used well to match the fastness of the song. Uyire Uyire would be expected for a melody visual dance in a Traditional way.
6. Anicham Poovazhagi
Singers: G. V. Prakash Kumar, Chinnaponnu, Velmurugan
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
The treat for Vikram fans with a village style song that creates dance moods to enthrall the theatre with dance movements. The music is perfectly tuned for dancing portions happily. This song will be used for marriages in the nearby future for a long time. The singers have done a good job singing with happiness and it creates a happy mood to listen and dance. Will be one among top in the charts.
7. A Poem for You
Singers: G. V. Prakash Kumar
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
The romantic theme music for Thaandavam has all its emotions placed with the piano. G.V Prakashkumar handled the piano with much professionalism to have such smooth tunes into it.
8. Shiva Thaandavam
Singers: SP. Balasubramaniam
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
The Theme music for the entire film Thaandavam. Sung by SP.Balasubramaniam derives the heroic Vikram’s character in a great way compared with lord Siva’s Thaandavam dance. A basic music mixed and its quiet heard in many films too to get the attraction of the heroic raise to the audience. The beats are decent to get the attention and moreover S.P.B’s voice made it viral.
Verdict: Worth Buying especially for the track “Will you be there”.
