Srikanth celebrates birthday with Shankar and Vijay

Actor Srikanth making his debut in Tamil cinema through ‘Roja Kootam’ didn’t happen to go through a commendable journey. But now his second innings seems to be a special one as ‘Drohi’ was a good hit. The biggest of all surprises is his unexpected call from Shankar’s office signing him for his big project ‘Nanban’ starring Vijay and Jeeva in lead roles alongside him.

Srikanth will be playing the role that was enacted by Madhavan in the original version of ‘3 Idiots’. Srikanth celebrated his birthday yesterday (February 28, 2011) on the sets of ‘Nanban’. The entire crew consisting of director Shankar, Vijay, Jeeva, Ileana D’ Cruz and others conveyed their birthday wishes to Srikanth and had a big bash on the sets.
