Singer Karthik Will Compose For Goutham Vasudev Menon

Singer Karthik who made his debut as a music director in Vasanthabalan’s ‘Aravaan’ has signed his next project with Gautham Menon. Sources have it that the singer-turned-composer will score the music for ‘Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum’ that will be directed by Prem Sai and produced by Gautham Menon.

This film will star Jai, Abhinaya, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh in key roles. It is said with Karthik having started composing already, the pre-production work is on full swing.

It may be recalled that Goutham Menon, who was working with Harris Jayaraj in all his films, has changed his mind since Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya. He roped in A.R. Rahman for VTV which went on to become a huge hit. Then he turned to veteran Ilayaraja for his Neethane En Ponvasantham. Now he is experimenting with youngsters like Karthik. This chance would definitely give a big boost to the young musician who impressed with his maiden venture Aravaan.
