Shankar ,Vikram and Rahman joins together in ‘I’

There had been speculation for a while that director Shankar would be teaming up with Aascar Ravichandran for a second time. Meanwhile, it is now official that the two would be uniting. The movie has been titled ‘I’ (the Tamil alphabet that has the phonetic sound ‘I’). Moreover, Samantha will be playing Vikram’s love interest, it is said.

Also, A R Rahman will be scoring the music for the movie. It may be noted that Rahman has signed two projects with Aascar Films, the Dhanush- starrer ‘Mariyaan’ and ‘I’ with Shankar. Malayalam star Suresh Gopi will appear in a vital role in the film and Santhanam will provide the comedy.

Ramkumar, producer and brother of actor Prabhu, is touted to be play an important character. Ace cinematographer P C Sreeram is handling the camera. Grapevine has it that the director has asked Vikram to put on weight for his role.
