Samantha Out From Maniratnam’s Kadal

If reports are to be believed, ace Telugu and Tamil actress Samantha has reportedly backed out of Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project Kadal. The movie marks the debut venture of yesteryear hero Karthik’s son Goutham. Samantha is too busy and could not adjust her dates to shoot for Kadal. Hence she chose to voluntarily pull out of Kadal, sources say.

Mani Ratnam’s Kadal has music by A R Rahman and features Arvind Samy and Arjun in prominent roles. Sources add the team is now busy finding an alternative to Samantha.

Samantha is currently acting in Rajamouli’s Naan Ee, Gautham Menon’s Neethane En Pon Vasantham, Telugu films Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and an untitled project with Nandini Reddy.
