Priya And Siva Karthikeyan In Edhir Neechal

Actress Priya Anand of ‘Nootrenbadhu’-fame is said to have landed a key role in Dhanush’s maiden production venture. The film to be made under his Wunderbar Films banner is to be titled ‘Edhir Neechal’, which was the title of K Balachander yesteryear super hit offering.

The film has Siva Karthikeyan in the lead and the hunt for a heroine had been going on for a while. Meanwhile, it appears as if Priya has finally been signed up. The film is to be directed by Senthil, former assistant to Vetrimaran who did ‘Polladhavan’ and ‘Aadukalam’ with Dhanush earlier.

There is a buzz about the project already as ‘Kolaveri’-fame Anirudh Ravichandran will be scoring the music. The movie will go on the floors soon, sources said.
