Vijay’s career graph in the past couple of years hasn’t been fair enough to elate his fans. But this time, the actor is sure as shooting stars with his upcoming film Kaavalan . There are more reasons to watch this film as he will not carry any of his previous traces. Good heavens! The film has finally broken down all the hurdles and is scheduled to hit screens on festive occasion of Pongal.

Kollywoodz brings you the first exclusive synopsis of the film ‘Kaavalan’.

The film opens with a flashback mode where a voiceover of a woman says that To speak about your father, one day is not enough, but a long time. But I think this train journey will let you know more about your father.

The film immediately shifts to flashback where the protagonist Arjun (Vijay) is noted for his peculiar nature. The reason? He wants to be the bodyguard of most powerful people and on such situation; he wants to be with a leading powerful tycoon (Raj Kiran) and his family that has his wife (Roja) and daughter Meera (Asin). First being reluctant towards Arjun, later the industrialist accepts to hire him. When he learns that his daughter has some danger in college, he asks Meera to stop her education. But later, Arjun is pulled into the situation for being her bodyguard and for her friend (Mithra Kurian) as well.

As Arjun behaves typically like a bodyguard, Meera turns out to be more
averted. Finally she hatches a plan of speaking over phone to Arjun with an unknown identity and makes him fall in love so that his attention will be diverted. Arjun now becomes more obsessed with the girl’s voice and falls in love with her even without seeing her. As Meera gets to know that his love is so serious, she is wedged between serious situations of deciding between Arjun and bridegroom that her father has fixed.

Finally, Meera decides to reveal her identity to Arjun. But an unexpected twist will throw you into absolute shock with some tears rolling down the cheeks.

Livingston. MS Bhaskar, Delhi Ganesh, Nizhalgal Ravi and many others have performed important roles while Vadivelu will tickle your funny bones. Vidhyasagar’s songs have already become instant hits. Cinematography N K Ekambaram is expected to be one of the major highlights of this film.

According to the sources, the kaavalan film has been produced at a whooping budget of Rs. 38Crores.
