K.V Anand’s Madagascar Dream Spoiled By Surya

Cinematographer-turned-director K V Anand and Suriya combined to give a hit movie in ‘Ayan’ and when they decided to work together again in ‘Maatran’ the expectations, naturally, were rather high.

The film has created a lot of hype and has been in the news more often than not. The film-maker, who is known for his eye for detail and choosing exotic locations, is said to have planned canning a song in Madagascar. However, his proposal was apparently shot down by Suriya, who felt it was a rather tedious journey to reach the location selected by Anand and his cameraman.

Subsequently, Anand is said to have planned to shoot the peppy number in Chennai. It must be noted that a major portion of the movie has been shot in countries like Croatia, Serbia, Albania and Macedonia.
