Isaignani Mesmerizes Everyone

Even at this stage of his career, Ilayaraja is all set to prove his gene of perfect music. Though there could not be hit numbers like his when he was at peak, his current one Neethane En Ponvasantham speaks more than sings.

However the director of the film Gowtham Menon wanted to taste the personal flavor of Isaignani and the result is NEP. For every meeting of this film, Menon is all praise for Ilayaraja and his songs for this movie. It is said the audio rights for this album fetched nearly Rs2 crore which is the highest bidding so far. In real terms, this amount exceeded AR Rahman’s worth of Rs1.75 crore. To be accurate, the bid for NEP has been covered at Rs2.5 crore including the Telugu rights.

Sony Music is the successful bidder for the album and it is said the album may hit the air in July. RS Infotainment is the official producer of the film in which Jeeva and Samantha are the lead cast. Santhanam adds humor in his maiden venture for Menon film. Menon is making this film a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions and the film may hit the screens in August
