Has Shankar spoke to Suriya on ‘3 Idiot’

With every options going out of the hands of Shankar, the filmmaker is
likely to zero down n Suriya. It seems that if nothing works out well,
Shankar may opt for Suriya to play the lead role in both the version of ‘3 Idiots’ remake in Tamil and Telugu. Suriya is busy now shooting for the film Ezham Arivu and sooner will join hands with Hari and K.V. Anand for other projects by 2011.

If Shankar confirms Suriya for the project, the actor will surely give
TADKAL dates to the producers in Gemini Film Circuit. Previously it was
Vijay walking out of the film and now Mahesh Babu too has opted out of the project.

Harris Jayaraj has meanwhile completed scoring music for couple of songs and will undertake rest of the songs shortly.

Shankar might have spoken to Suriya, but there is no official news confirmed on that.
