Every now and then, Kollywood comes up with Sports related movies. Dhoni is one such movie, which The Story, screenplay is written by Prakash Raj. He has also produced, directed and acted in
this movie.
Prakash Raj features in the role of a Government Servant, in the Registrar Office. His Wife, who dies in the middle. He is survived by a girl studying 10th and a Boy studying 9th.
This boy is inclined towards Cricket. He is adamant to take Cricket as his Career. In this situation, Prakash Raj is shocked by the activities of his Son. So, he asks his Son to stop Cricket, and to move on with his studies in a full fledged manner. As Prakash Raj tries to force his point of view, he
pushes his Son. As a result, he falls down and falls in Coma. Due to this, Prakash Raj is jailed on the allegation
As per the movie, Prakash Raj is a usual middle class man, who does not understand the fresh and new thoughts of modern children like his Son. That is his primary problem. Of course, the
pressures put by the School, augments the worries about the future of his Son.
Prakash Raj feels very sad about the ill-fated happenings to his Son. During the time spent in jail, he realizes that, every Child may not be talented in all the subjects and all the aspects of
Education. Some Children may be good in Subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry etc.
On this opinion to the vast majority of people. So, he takes part in the Neeya Naana Show in Vijay TV, and conveys his points of views. By this, he becomes very famous for the thoughts, expressed by
him.
As time passes by, the Doctors plan to carry out some Surgeries, to help in bringing back the old health of his Son. The operation end successfully and hence, his Son becomes alright. Slowly,
everything Government Job, for acting against the Principles and methods, laid down by the Government.
There are numerous positive factors in the movie Dhoni. There are many problems in the society and This Appropriate casting and top class performances by the Artists is very much appreciable. Prakash
Raj seems to have over reacted in few scenes. In general, he has done very good job. ‘Raktha Charitra’ fame Radhika Apte has done justification to her role. Akash who comes as Son of Prakash
Raj is the Son of Tollywood Director Jagannath. He has excelled in his performance.
Music Maestro has scored the Music. The Music and background score is very nice as usual. K.V.Guhan’s Cinematography is very good.
There are some mistakes here and there. There is some patience testing moments in this movie. Specifically, 30 minutes after Intermission, it movie drags on for quite sometime. But, the good
thing is, the movie swiftly moves on the right track.
To conclude, Dhoni is a very realistic movie to the core. It is filled with the right amount of fun, emotions and so on.
Prakash Raj’s Duet Movies is famous for presenting very good movies. Dhoni surely lively up to its expectations. Dhoni is movie for the family audiences. Prakash Raj has come up with yet another
appreciable venture in his own unique style.
