Breaking News: Vishnuvardhan no more in ‘Billa-2’

Director Vishnuvardhan has parted ways with the producer of ‘Billa-2’ due to the date schedules clashing with that of his Telugu movie ‘The Shadow’ starring Pawan Kalyan and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

Initially, Vishnuvardhan had completed working on the script of Billa-2 much before couple of years and curiously waited for the call of Ajith Kumar. Since it took a very long time for the project to fall at right place, he started working script on Telugu movie ‘The Shadow’ that will go on floors from mid of March while producers of ‘Billa-2’ wanted to start the project by end of April.

Regrettably, they had no options other than opting Vishnuvardhan out of the project. Now they have signed Chakri Toleti, who made his debut directorial with the movie ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ starring Kamal Haasan in lead role (A remake of Hindi movie ‘A Wednesday’). The team will have new writers working on the script along with Chakri. The complete details about cast and crew of ‘Billa-2’, the prequel will be announced on March 15.
