Arjun Is Building His Hanuman Temple

Action King Arjun has been involved in the construction of Lord Hanuman Temple. It is his ambition to build a temple for Lord Anjaneya. The temple is situated in Gerugambakkam near Chennai.

On 7-4-12, Saturday at around 8 am, Lord Hanuman statue was erected. This statue is 28 feet tall and the base is about 7 feet tall. Overall, the height of the full statue is 35 feet, and it weighs around 140 tons.

This statue was made from a single stone. It was brought from Koira in Karnataka, where around 100 artisans were working on it for quite some time.

Arjun, his wife Asha Rani and their 2 Daughters participated in this function. On this occasion, Arjun said, “Today I am very happy. This has been my dream for quite long time. It got fulfilled today”.

Arjun added, “The specialty of this Lord Anjaneya statue is, he is in the sitting posture in the Dhyana state. It is the first of its type and the only statue in the world. There are plans to install the statues of deities like Lord Rama and so on. Plans are on to complete all works in a year’s time”.
