Alex Pandian’s Costliest Song

The crew of Karthi, Anushka-starrer ‘Alex Pandian’ is said to have been leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that they put in quality work for the movie and has been travelling to Chalakudy, Hyderabad and Puducherry, for the picturisation of a song.

Sources have it that the ‘Naalu Pakkam Kaadu Irukku’ song has been shot on three different sets — a tribal backdrop in Chalakudy, a huge ship set up in Pondicherry, and the British Empire sets erected in Hyderabad. The song traverses three different styles and the lead actors have sported all the three looks in the film.

On his part, director Suraj said this would probably be one of the costliest songs to be filmed. He also said a lot of effort was put into this song as its lyrics demanded a variety of locales. Anushka, it is said looked rather stunning in the different outfits and is said to be working hard in the shoots along with Karthi.
