Aadhi Escapes From Accident

Aadhi who was shooting for Maranthen Manithen had a close escape when he was shooting near the river banks of Godavari in Chinchinada village. The unit was shooting the floods scenes with around 250 technicians and around 20-cameras set-up.

At midnight, water from reservoir was about to be released for a flood scene. The unit was ready to lift six gates for this flood scene. When The Director called for the shot and gates were lifted, Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu were dragged deep into the flood. The local fishermen reacted sharply and saved Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu who were already dragged towards the river by 400 feet. The movie is directed by Kumar Nagendra.
